Overview
Any Addition or removal of directors of a company should be mandatorily intimated via prescribed form according to provisions of the Companies act 2013 and the Companies (appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014. Form DIR 12 needs to be filed with details of Directors such as DIN, Name, Address, reason for removal, etc along with proofs for appointment or removal as the case may be. The form DIR 12 duly certified by a practicing professional such as CA, CS or CMA, needs to be filed within 30 days of such appointment or removal or both.
