What is DIR 3 KYC form?
Every Person who has obtained a Director Identification Number (DIN) shall file Form DIR 3 KYC with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) within the due date. The process is mandatory for identifying and verifying the details of the directors. Details such as residential address, permanent address, mobile number, e mail ID, etc shall be verified through this process.
Due Date
Every Person who holds a DIN (Directors Identification Number) as on 31st March of a particular year is due to file DIR 3 KYC by the 30th September of that particular year.
Effect of Non-Compliance
Non compliance or delay in filing of Director KYC will result in inactive status of the DIN and the Director will be unable to perform any directorship activities. Further Rs. 5000 reactivation fees needs to be paid to get your DIN Status active.
